"Those who can formulate the stories that make the world understandable will redefine the experience of those who live in it."

A Midsummer Night's Dream

In the spring of 2022, I directed an abridged two-hour production of A Midsummer Night's Dream in partnership with Auburn University Players. It was produced outdoors at the Kreher Preserve and ran for two sold-out performances.

We were intentional about incorporating accessibility design into our production and began each show with a tactile tour. During the show, audience members could utilize the sensory garden. We also provided covered accessible seating for those sensitive to sunlight.

Sally Cotter and the Censored Stone

In the spring of 2020, I directed Sally Cotter and the Censored Stone at the Auburn Area Community Theatre (AACT.) This was particularly wonderful and difficult as we aimed to safely produce a nine-show run in person during the COVID-19 pandemic. Through intentionality, collaboration, and the prioritization of our crew and cast's health, we were successful.

In the spring of 2020, I was one of four student directors that participated in The Future is Here: A Student One-Act and Performance Festival. I directed PROGRESS, a two-person one act by Annie Fox. The Festival was held over the course of two days outdoors at the Gogue Performing Arts Center.

Two-Timing Loaf of Bread

In the fall of 2020, I directed the ten-minute play Two-Timing Loaf of Bread by Ryan Bultrowicz. The final performance was realized over Zoom. Below is a screen capture from the production and my final notebook, which contains my directing concept, design presentation, and textual analysis.
